Zodiac Killer

Albert Guy Hollingsworth
Albert Guy Hollingsworth
Somewhere in the Pacific Northwest - His favourite place
1970's

Check out these facts that are known about the Zodiac Killer and look at the photo. If you have witnessed any of the Zodiac crimes and recognize this villain, call police. He lived in the Bay Area/Pacific Northwest from the late fifties onward.

Watch your car. Anyone can tamper with it and cause your car to break down in the middle of no where, like highway 16 in British Columbia or highway 5 in Washington state, leaving you in need of help and alone. A little mechanic work goes a long way when you are an old serial killer.... or his prodigy.

Copy of email from Vancouver Police Department Deputy Chief Lepard:
" The dead serial killer cannot be named because he was not charged.  The identity of the third serial killer is unknown – the cases attributed to him are unsolved."

    Regards,

    Doug LePard
    Deputy Chief Constable
    Operations Division
    Vancouver Police Department

Riverside City Police found a: "man's Timex watch with a broken 7" wristband."

Fact 2:
Riverside City Police: "Also found at the scene .... the heel-print from a shoe that appeared to be close to size 10."

Although there was much discussion over the cases that were popping up all over the Bay Area amongst the varying police forces: "Opinion (was) split, however, as to who authored the 1966 and 1967 documents, and whether they were even written by the same person. The murder of Cheri Jo Bates remains controversial and there is no evidence to definitively exclude the Zodiac as the killer."

Michael Renault Mageau describes the Zodiac Killer as "short, about 5'8" tall, but extremely heavyset, though 'not blubbery fat'  the man was at least 195 pounds and had a large face."

Bryan Calvin Hartnell, a surviving witness said, "the man's voice was unremarkable, sounding neither educated nor illiterate, and though Hartnell could not detect an accent, he said the killer did have a slight lilt or drawl to his voice."

My uncle had a slight drawl to his voice; he is from Mississippi. There is another fact about my uncle's voice that only those who have heard it would know. Very uniquely, deep & gravelly.

Fact 6:
He lived in the right places to have been the Zodiac Killer and more.

An "SFPD memo dated November 12,1969: 'The suspect that was observed by Officer Foukes was a WMA 35-45 Yrs about 5' 10", 180-200 lbs.  Medium heavy build -- Barrel chested -- Medium complexion -- Light-colored hair possibly greying in rear (May have been lighting that caused this effect.)  (Navy or royal blue) Elastic cuffs and waistband zipped part way up.  Brown wool pants pleated type baggy in rear (Rust brown).  May have been wearing low cut shoes. Subject at no time appeared to be in a hurry walking with a shuffling lope, Slightly bent foreward head down.  The subject's general appearance to classify him as a group would be that he might be of Welsh ancestry.'"

Besides the fact that every physical description of the suspect that Officer Foukes gave matches my uncle to a B for Bubba, he also walked with a shuffling lope due to his right middle toe being shot off in a hunting accident when he was younger. Our family ancestry IS Welsh and isn't his hair shiny?

The Zodiac Killer wrote: "Bullshit that area is srounded by high hills + trees. What I did was tape a small pencel flash light to the barrel of my gun".

He had such a gun. It was black metal with the site filed off and white tape residue around the barrel. It had a red shield on the handle. He called it a Saturday Night Police Special. He put it in my hand, in our apartment in San Bruno, California in the summer of '70. It weighed about 11 ounces. Then he bent it open and loaded it. He said he used a penlight flashlight taped to the top of the barrel to use as a site and said he did his best hunting at night. Asked if I wanted to go hunting with him. I wonder how many other people he has asked that question? I said, "No".

Fact 9:
Jake Vark states: "Before getting too close to the couple, he ducked behind one of the two nearby trees, put on an unusual four-cornered hood, and emerged about 20 feet away.  The hood was well sewn, black, and had a bib that fell almost to the man's waistline.  Embroidered on it was the crossed-circle design that had appeared in the 3-Part Cryptogram and its cover letters and would serve as the Zodiac's signature in most of his letters to come."

He had such a hood. It hung on the wall over his chair. It was not black, but a rich dark brown, finely tailored hangman's hood that fell to the waist with a flat, square top (like a hangman's hood with a mortarboard) adorned with gold symbols in each corner. He said he got it when he joined an old order of the Mason's. Templar's?

Fact 10:
A San Francisco Police memo states: "Also recovered from the cab was a pair of men's leather gloves in a size 7 (XXL), though it remains uncertain whether they were left by the killer".

Fact 11:
His mother is the woman who raised me. He was more like a brother than an uncle. At least once a year he would come home to visit in Terry, Mississippi. On at least two occasions in the latter 60's, on the morning after he left to go back to San Francisco, a piano string was missing off my grandmother's baby grand piano. She was certain her son had taken the strings and felt strongly in her heart that he was the Zodiac Killer. This she confessed to me on her death bed. I agreed, but knew of no way to offer proof. He may have committed murder more than anyone in history, in the south, up and down the west coast at high sea and God knows where else.

Poster made from the description given by witnesses to Paul Stine's murder:

Cousin Eddy
Cousin Eddy
This is a cousin. I post his photo because he may have helped. Was he the guy who "rescued" the mother and baby? Did Uncle Bubba write police claiming he did this act to Ms. Johns so that everyone would be confused about his identity? Did my cousin help him? Did Eddy kill Paul Stine and Uncle Bubba write in claiming credit for it, for confusion's sake? Eddy for sure gave my uncle advice on how to get away with murder, having been a cop in New Orleans in the early 60's when so many women went missing there.

Here is the sound of the Zodiac Killer's voice, obtained by Tom Voigt. The voice found at 32:11 & 32:36 of the Youtube video titled, 'Richard Gaikowski Zodiac Killer Solved Serial Killer Documentary', is EXACTLY like Albert Guy Hollingsworth's, not Richard Gaikowski's. EXACTLY like Albert Guy Hollingsworth's.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LGcA-snbap0

There just is no fact about the Zodiac case that does not match anything here. If there is, let me know.

DNA is always available for police to use in a comparison. DNA, obtained by RCMP from my mother, the Zodiac's sister, and their parents, both buried. So far, police are UNinterested in pursuing the forensic lead. Why?

Update:
Albert Guy Hollingsworth, Zodiac Killer (among other things), is dead.

Born in Terry, Mississippi on October 25, 1934, he died on May 1, 2007 in Idaho under the care of a life-long friend, God rest his soul. If only it wasn't for the rest of the gang still at LARGE.

He was seen in the presence of the Picktons at the notorious pig farm in Port Coquitlam, British Columbia by my sister Holli Innes, well known to police, who frequented Piggy's Palace with her best friend Marnie Frey.

Similar unsolved murders happened in several areas on the West Coast in the 1990's, at least five around where Uncle Bubba lived in Oregon. He did travel through British Columbia to Alaska throughout the 90's to visit another cousin in Anchorage. He did travel with a friend and he did travel the highway of tears.

Uncle Bubba lived at 2053 Fish Hatchery Road in Grant's Pass, Oregon in the 90's. Yet, southern Oregon police claim, "No one with that name lived at that address, nor anywhere else in Oregon, ever". But I called Al Hollingsworth at that address in the mid 90's AND HE ANSWERED! I gave the southern Oregon cops the phone number at which I spoke with Al Guy Hollingsworth in the 90's.

On September 23, 2003, at exit 246 on highway 5 heading north, I watched him abduct three young people. Two of the victims were tall, thin, white people (either male or female, I couldn't tell)  both with long (nearly to the waist) wavy light brown hair, in their 20's. These two people may have been twins. The other person was a short young white girl about 16 years old with shoulder length blond hair. They looked very scared as their eyes searched each other then looked at the man sitting in the car parked behind their red truck. I told State troopers in Bellingham about the incident, but I don't think they ever found those three victims alive. The thought that there was an organ trade going on crossed my mind.

In summary. It is my opinion that my uncle and cousin acted together to cause confusion with witnesses, survivors, the police and the public. It worked. One is dead and the other is still at large.

The victims name is STINE, not STINES, and if you seriously think he is Zodiac, contact Inspector Carroll at the SFPD

  4. To Anonymous: Thank you for the correction, Paul Stine.

You didn't read what I wrote. Carroll refused to see me, but did get a registered copy, of information posted here, through the mail in October of 2003. I spoke with Detective Walsh in room 450-850 Bryant Street in San Francisco. Carroll closed the case on the Zodiac Killer, using a very flimsy excuse, without officially solving it, on April 8, 2004. That was two weeks after the comparison of DNA was shceduled to be completed. I gave them my DNA and permission to compare it solely to that of the DNA found under the victim, Cheri Jo Bates' fingernails. So far, no one from SFPD Homocide has responded with the results of that comparison.

  5. UPDATE:
There are now 88+ people missing from the DTES. More missing posters go up every welfare week, usually the last week of the month.

Chief Graham is resigning in August of 2007, most likely without ever being fully brought to the justice he so richly deserves. Good-bye to an evil Chief. God save the poor, may Vancouver finally get a police chief who is honest enough to discern the truth and act with a human conscience in fulfilling his duties.

I know how it feels first hand to have the cops laugh at you when you talk to them. A victim of a long-term stranger stalker myself. All I do know about this guy is, I went to Humble, Tx schools with him. A very long story I won't go into here! Anyway, he calls himself "Phantom" in all the notes he wrote to me. In one of the last ones he claims, among other things, to be killing people! I don't know if this is true or not but I do know I would NOT put it past this nut-job. Not after all the pure hell he's put me through since day one of his stalking. All the cops I talked to ever said to me is they couldn't help me unless my stalker "did something to me." So in other words I guess if my stalker tired to kill me then the cops will do something? Well at least you know you are not alone. Anyway, good luck with your quest and damn the rest. I do not wish to give my name. Only due to the fact the internet is full of crackpots, whom I wish not to deal with if I put my name up. God bless everyone looking for justice in this world. I wish we could all have it. With peace, M.Mc.

  7. It is now July of 2008 and from the DTES there have been 148 missing people since Willy Pickton was arrested. Wherever it is, Piggy's Palace has not been stopped; it has just moved. 1/3 of the missing people are Aboriginal women, 1/3 poor/immigrant women, 1/3 young men.

The trend has moved toward young men since 2005. Eight of the missing have disappeared since January 2008; six are men.

  8. There have been 279+ posters of Missing People go up in the Downtown Eastside since the arrest of ONLY Willy Pickton.

  9. I don't know where Albert Guy Hollingsworth is right now. He is younger than my mother, his sister, who is still alive. He is a healthy man, so am not sure that age has slowed him down enough. Hope so.

I tried to make a claim against him at the BC Provincial Courthouse, 222 Main Street, Vancouver, BC in 2003, but the JP was of no help. So that is why I have made this blog.

  10. Update: Albert Guy Hollingsworth, Zodiac Killer, Co-Hort of the Pickton's, Hell's Angel member, one of the High-5 killers, one of the Green River murderers, One of the three in The Turkey Shoot, ex Merchant Marine, Black Ops and Baron of the Magna Charta, is dead.

He died on May 1, 2007 in Idaho under the care of a life-long friend, God rest his soul. If only it wasn't for the rest of the gang still at LARGE.

Will the RCMP EVER bust ANYONE else except Willy Pickton? There are so many others who are involved, it would be good if the cops at least busted one or two more, not just leave it at Willy Pickton while the numbers on the Missing List get higher and higher. We are at around 3,000 Missing Persons in BC, most have gone missing over the last ten years.

"One of the other serial killers who acted with Robert Pickton is now dead", reports RCMP Missing Women's Task Force investigating the murders committed in BC Missing Women's case, "and there are likely three serial killers responsible".

  11. Another foot on the shoreline, August 2010, bringing the total to nine.... that media has told us about. Is there anyone who believes the police when they say, all nine of these feet are from people who drowned or committed suicide? Not me. What are WE going to do about it?

When police come up with such lame excuses for all the feet and all the missing people, in the face of the obvious, your gut tells you, "They are involved!", doesn't it?

  12. As of December 2010 there have been well over 300 posters of missing people go up in the DTES since the arrest of ONLY Willy Pickton. While some of the 300+ people may have chosen to "get lost" and some may be "vacationing", well over 100 of those posters have police file numbers and are still open cases. Once again I ask, Is there an Organ Trade going on? Why else go for the young & healthy? This mess smacks of the same cover-up as the Boystown case from the 80's, where hundreds of young men from Boystown were lured into Lawrence King's web of drugs, forced prostitution and pedophilia which King made available to some sick fucks in very high places, in more than one country.

  14. PS - To all the sleuths who are trying to solve the cipher, Uncle Bubba told me in July 1970 that the Zodiac used the cipher to "make the cops feel smart and give them something to do".

Police will need to compare the DNA they have of the suspect with DNA from any children he may have had and DNA from his spouse to identify the suspect. Why don't you contact police? Refer them to this blog if you like.

The handwriting samples do not in any way at all match up. What evidence do you have? You have given absolutely no specifics here. I have read and reread what you have written and can't help but think you have a vendetta against this deceased relative. Are you now in Vancouver? Was your sister a drug addict or prostitute or both? Or perhaps I should ask why she is well known to police. The so called email from the police is out of context. How is a reader supposed to connect up the dots. Which serial killer is dead and what crimes would be attributed? This is very confusing.

    1. Well as anyone can see, you have your facts wrong. The handwriting DOES match up. Even if you think my uncle was not the Zodiac Killer, it is more than clear to most everyone that my cousin DOES look like the poster of the John's suspect.

It doesn't matter to me what you think. Most likely you are someone trying to figure out the "cipher" and are as convinced of your theory as I am of mine. We are both entitled to our opinions.

You obviously do not want to acknowledge that evidence presented by police (Fouke's) about the suspect's physical characteristics as well as descriptions given by survivors actually match the physical description of my uncle. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if you are a cop or Voight. (or some college kid detective wannabe)

If so, I have heard your spam before. Not asking you to believe it. So don't sweat it. I won't be taking it down however.

      Have a nice day!

  25. Hi Terri,
Thanks for sharing your research, and for alerting me to it. You ask some great questions and keep your work close to the facts. From what I understand, the police are now only interested in forensic evidence. Id invite you to submit an article for publication in Radians & Inches, the Zodiac journal. If you hive me a mail address, I'll send you a complimentary copy. Best wishes with your research: I hope you continue with it. Mark Hewitt, editor Radians & Inches

  26. If the police WERE interested in "forensic evidence" they would compare the DNA they have of the suspect with that of my mother and either one of her parents, who are both buried. My mother was the full sibling of her brother, Albert Guy Hollingsworth.

I use to think police and FBI were investigative agencies, but have since found out they simply do not investigate solid, substantial leads like THIS ONE. Could it be that police and FBI have something to hide in this case?

Police and FBI have not convinced me they REALLY want to solve this case, nor that they actually "investigate". They probably make too much money off it being left unsolved.

This case mystifies everyone, including me. Every single fact about my uncle matches every single bit of evidence available. Only American police can solve the case. The DNA of his son and his son's mother should be sought for comparison to that of any left by the suspect in any of the cases, including the murder of Cheri Jo Bates. It's up to Riverside police, should they so desire, to solve their case.
